Hi there! My name is Gwen Krilova, the host of ‘Women Selling with Confidence.’  I’m so excited that you’re interested in coming on as a guest for my show! Interviewing people and sharing their amazing knowledge is so exciting! I want our conversation to be an experience to remember, and one that is helpful to my listeners. My podcast focuses on helping women entrepreneurs when it comes to wearing their sales hat.  I love to have conversations about anything sales related, as well as other topics that could help women entrepreneurs such as mindset, confidence, fear of rejection, planning, goal setting, and habits that will help propel their business forward. With that being said, here are the guidelines for the Women Selling with Confidence Podcast and some other helpful information you need to know before our interview.

 INTERVIEW GUIDELINES

  • If we haven’t already scheduled an interview, please schedule yours here: calendly.com/krilova/podcastinterview

  • Please set aside 1 hour for the entire interview as we may need spare time to answer any last questions before we go “on air” – also, in case of any unexpected interruptions.

  • We normally shoot from the hip around here when it comes to the interview.

    • We’ll have an outline prepared to keep us on track and keep the conversation flowing, but this isn’t meant to be a scripted conversation. Authentic, honest chats are so important to the integrity of what we’re trying to accomplish!

  • We’ll be conducting the interview through Zencastr. I will send you a link that you will use to connect for the interview.  You’ll also receive a Tech sheet about Zencastr.

  • Do you own a business? Or are you part of an organization that you can promote?

    • If so, I will include a 2-5 minute segment at the end of our conversation for you to plug any products, services, or other marketing materials you’d like to discuss.

    • This is a great opportunity for you to do some FREE promotion!

    • Please have a website or social media platform to direct listeners to. They want to know where they can learn more about you and what you do.

    • This can simply be a Facebook page if you do not have a website.

  • Please send me your bio at least two days before our scheduled interview, along with a list of links where my audience can find you.  I’ll include them in the show notes.  I will also promote the interview on my social media platforms when the episode is released.

ON THE DAY OF THE INTERVIEW

  • Just relax!

  • We’re just chatting and the only people listening are you and me.

  • There will be edits after our conversation is over so don’t worry if you stutter or fumble over your words. We’ll fix that!

  • Be open and honest! Listeners can quickly see through a scripted conversation, so I like to keep things as casual and as informal as possible.

  • The airing of the podcast will depend on the scheduling date.

    • For example, we may conduct the interview one week, but your episode may not “air” until several weeks later.

    • This is totally normal, it gives us time for edits.

You’re ready for your interview!
